If so, consider applying to the PAYA Youth Council—a paid leadership development opportunity only for youth apprentices!
The Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA) Youth Council is a group of current and former youth apprentices who collaborate over a year-long term to develop youth-led projects that spread the word about the value of youth apprenticeship and improve it for other young people around the country.
In addition to designing and leading their own projects, Council members:
The Council's work will culminate in a free trip to Washington, DC, for an in-person summit in June 2027. Council members receive a $1,650 stipend for their service.

You are eligible to apply if you are…
No previous experience in advocacy or leadership is necessary to serve on the Council. We hope to recruit applicants who bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives. While there’s no one model of an ideal applicant, successful Council members generally embody the following qualities:
